So my journey in coding is a bit of a bumpy ride.
It all started just after high school, I was unsure of my career path and didn't want to spend a butt load of money on something I wasn't going to love, because of this I decided to take a few years off to try and figure it out. Time flew by and I still had no clue what I wanted to commit to, so, being a Gen-Z I decided to turn to the internet for an answer. After a few online quizzes I decided to pursue a career in Web Development. Shortly after this decision I enrolled at triOS College in London, Ontario where I had an 86% average (3.9 GPA), and graduated with honours while working two jobs and doing an hour long commute each way.
Since my time at triOS (including my internship) was the only experience I had in coding I
was lacking confidence and concerned with school debt, because of
this I returned to work in sales where I won awards for highest
appointment rate, highest validation, and rep of the quarter.
COVID lock-downs were on and off after my graduation so instead of
sitting around I decided to refresh my brain, expand my knowledge, and boost my coding confidence
with SheCodes.

As a student Nicole was an instructor’s dream. A hard working student who took directions and advice in stride, always looking for ways to improve her skills. I will not forget that in her first week of the program (18 months long) she had a moment of self-doubt, but thankfully hung in there. The result was amazing to see. With no coding background to speak of, she would at times outwork the entire class! Creative, smart and skilled, Nicole will always have my recommendation! -Michael Lewis (Professor)

Nicole was very proficient and skilled at learning and implementing JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Nicole also started working in React where we developed client-side applications. I'd recommend Nicole as a front end developer. -Lewis Menelaws (Internship Host)
